The fact that Golden Dawn was seen by the court as a criminal organisation and that its leaders were convicted has given great joy to antifascists all over the world.
This ruling by the court makes it official that a neonazi gang that killed rapper Pavlos Fyssas, attacked immigrants, committed crimes against the working class and the left, cannot be a political party.
The court’s ruling must be seen as the result of years of patient and determined anti-fascist struggle in the streets, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods.
We salute all our comrades, especially the United Movement Against Racism and the Fascist Threat (KEERFA), who never gave up on this struggle.
Fascism is a crime against humanity. This ideology, which poses a great threat to all the oppressed, must be confined to the rubbish dump of history.
The success of the anti-fascist movement in Greece sets an example and gives great inspiration to us all.
They shall not pass!
